AutumnBaker is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (License # 97425) under the supervision of Lauren Stewart LPC-S, MRC. Autumn received her undergraduate degree from the University of Oklahoma (2011) and a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health from East Texas A&M University (2024). In addition to her LPC Associate license,Autumn is a National Certified Counselor and a Certified Trauma Professional. She sees clients 10 and up who are looking for help dealing with anxiety, depression, ADHD, neurodivergence, grief, life changes, identity issues, social difficulties, and trauma. She uses affirming, empirically backed techniques from person-centered and cognitive behavioral theories to help clients build coping skills, emotion identification and regulation, meaning, self-esteem, and executive functioning. Autumn also enjoys working with parents living with postpartum depression, postpartum anxiety, parenting challenges, communication issues, burnout, work/life balance, and identity loss.
In her clinical internship, Autumn supported children, teens, and parents at a local school district’s community mental health clinic. Here, she contributed to a program providing direct, tailored services to children at their school and partnered with parents to ignite meaningful change at home. Autumn has experience helping clients with transitions to new schools, new family structure, and parent-child relationships. Previously, Autumn worked at Southwest Airlines for 12 years using her writing and developing skills to build community and processes. Now she finds that these skills serve her well with helping clients develop their own story. When Autumn isn’t in the office you can find her at a yoga class, chasing her two young sons, or traveling with her family.
